com and *let’s talk*! *The Requirements:* * 5+ years’ experience in full-cycle accounting including processing A/R, A/P, adjusting journal entries, and month-end close * 5+ years of financial statement preparation including Cash Flow, Income Statements, and Balance Sheets * 5+ years in an Accounting leadership role with budget preparation and analysis of budget vs.
actual variance reporting * 1+ years of QuickBooks Online experience * Experience with rev.
io, bill.
com, GoCo HRIS, and Gusto Payroll preferred * 5+ years processing payroll in a multi-state environment and administering benefits * Telecom industry experience preferred *Key Responsibilities:* * *Financial Reporting:* Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP standards.
Present financial performance metrics to management team and owners.
* *Budgeting and Forecasting:* Collaborate with department heads to develop annual operating budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
* *Cash Flow Management:* Manage cash flow and liquidity through the accounts payable and receivable processes, optimizing working capital, and maintaining banking relationships.
* *Financial Analysis:* Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including pricing strategies, capital investments, and cost-saving initiatives.
* *Audit and Compliance:* Coordinate annual audits and tax filings with external auditors and tax advisors.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Audit monthly customer billing for accuracy * *Process Improvement:* Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance internal controls, and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
* *Payroll & Employee Benefits:* Process semi-monthly payroll and manage employee benefits.
* Coordinate with outside CPA firm to file annual income tax returns * Update and maintain internal valuation model for shareholders * Coordinate annual R&D Study *Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA/CMA certification preferred.
* 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles * Thorough understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting software; experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software preferred.
* Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels.
* Prominent level of integrity and ethical conduct, with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
