Antique Empire Chair made in the 1840’s - $129 (CRR / TERREBONNE / CROOKED RIVER RANCH)

I am selling a very old chair that was purchased at an estate sale about 10 years ago.
I don't know anything about the maker or history of the chair.
I have been told that it is an Empire chair made in the 1840’s.
It appears to be made of a very decorative hardwood, and shows several areas where it has been hand carved.
The construction also appears to be of a style from many years ago.
The seat material looks to be leather material.
The reason for selling is that we just don't have a place for it in our new home.
