Infant Teacher Aide

*About us* Mia's Sprouts Early Childhood Development Center is a preschool/daycare that originated in Redmond, Oregon and now has a second location in Bend, Oregon.
Infant Teacher Aide: 1.
Assist the lead teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants.
2.
Support the lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate activities and routines for infants.
3.
Help with feeding, diapering, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for the infants.
4.
Provide responsive and attentive care to meet the individual needs of each infant.
5.
Assist in monitoring and documenting the developmental progress and milestones of the infants.
6.
Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for infants to explore and learn.
7.
Assist with creating and maintaining a daily schedule and routine for infants.
8.
Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on the infants' daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
9.
Ensure the safety and well-being of the infants at all times, following all health and safety protocols.
10.
Support the lead teacher in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
These responsibilities are crucial in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for infants and supporting their early development.
Requirements for Early Learning and Care: 1.
Minimum of a high school diploma 2.
Completed courses in Early Childhood Education 3.
Experience working with young children 4.
Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods 5.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills 6.
Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members 7.
CPR and First Aid certification (can acquire up to 60 days after employment) 8.
