This position oversees and manages the non-clinical operations in the clinic.
Ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting an environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.
Thereby ensuring the highest health and safety standards for patients and staff.
*Position Responsibilities *
* Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the quality and efficiency of non-clinical operations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish protocols and guidelines.
* Oversee the development and implementation of patient care services as it relates to non-clinical areas.
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, providing constructive feedback and implementing improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines.
* Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among clinical staff.
* Collaborate with Clinical Operations Supervisor
* Be involved with the hiring and new orientation.
Screen applicants for all positions.
* Develop and prepare analysis reports for the Administrator as requested.
* Special projects, as requested, relating to clinic flow and patient care.
* Work with Clinical Operations Supervisor on clinic flow processes for continuity of clinic flow and patient care.
* Safety Director – work with Clinical Operations Supervisor on safety compliance, staff training.
*Operational / front end Responsibilities *
* Provide outstanding customer service to all staff, patients, and vendors.
* Collaborate with practice staff to establish and implement effective workplace procedures.
* Assist in daily practice operations such as clinic flow, patient scheduling, and business metrics
* Staff scheduling and managing time off requests.
* Coordinate human resources activities
* Work with Clinical Operations Supervisor in preparing reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences as needed or requested.
* Assess and triage urgent patient appointments.
Assist patients in distress and respond to emergencies.
* Comply with the required training in HIPAA, Identity Theft, Workplace Safety, and OSHA.
* Manage the employee health program in compliance with Oregon OSHA standards.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Required Education and Experience*
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
Proven leadership and team management skills and experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Understanding of the use, storage, and appropriate dissemination of highly confidential information.
* Must be organized, flexible, independent, and self-motivated, enthusiastic, dependable, detail oriented.
* Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively with others in a team-based environment.
* Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
* Must be willing to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
* Must possess proficient computer skills for record-keeping, correspondence, and reports.
* Regular in-person attendance required.
40-hour / 5 day work week.
