Charles Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic provides in person and telehealth mental health services, throughout Central Oregon.
We serve and support children, youth, adults, families, and couples.
Our specialized team is comprised of behavioral health providers, including Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Psychologist, Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practioners.
We also provide support and mental health treatment for our own caregivers, through our Caregiver Assistance Program.
Individuals/Clients have access to individualized interventions for depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, adjustment, psychosis, family/couple functioning, and many other presenting issues.
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist is responsible for the delivery of ethical and evidence-based therapy to individuals and/or families experiencing various mental health diagnoses, being accepting of ALL, and treating ALL with dignity and respect.
The Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist provides intentional interventions, including psycho-social assessments, DSM-V diagnostics, and treatment of individuals who seek support, healing, and symptom management This position does not directly manage any other caregivers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES: Establish a therapeutic relationship with clients and/or families seeking outpatient behavioral health services to help facilitate client focused change and resolution of client identified issues.
Perform assessment of client’s social, behavioral, emotional, and family situation and client’s goals in seeking outpatient behavioral health services, including a diagnosis using current DSM diagnosis codes.
Complete a treatment plan that is individualized, measurable, and in compliance with the department and regulatory standards.
Complete timely and accurate docmentation in the client record, including insurance, professional, and department required elements of documentation.
Provide therapeutic interventions using a variety of evidence based treatment modalities and interventions.
Accurately document services rendered and complete charge documentation using standard CPT codes Provide documentation of all client interactions in accordance with hospital, state, federal and regulatory requirements.
Practice in compliance with the State of Oregon Board of Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors and/or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and Therapists Code of Ethics.
Contribute to departmental financial success by maintaining productivity and by following departmental intake, billing, documentation, and evaluation standards.
Participate in department meetings, professional trainings, and peer consultation on an ongoing basis.

May perform additional duties of similar complexity within the organization, as required or assigned.
EDUCATION: Required: Masters degree in a Behavioral Health field.
Preferred: N/A LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Required: Oregon licensure as a clinical social worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) or the ability to become licensed as a LCSW, LPC or LMFT in Oregon prior to starting employment, if currently licensed in another state.
Ability to become credentialed with insurers required (meets all attestation requirements).
Preferred: N/A EXPERIENCE: Required: N/A Preferred: Outpatient clinical social work and/or mental health experience.
Experience providing EAP services.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required to perform the job safely.
