Chemical Manufacturing Technician

We manufacture our own brand of products as well as those for a few dozen other companies.

*Job Title:* Color Chemical Laboratory Technician *Compensation:* Starting wage will vary depending upon experience ranging from $26 - 28/hr.
The first performance review will be after 3 months and then annual reviews every year.

Work hours are from 6 AM or 8 AM to 2:30 or 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday most of the time – overtime requirements occur on occasion.
*Responsibilities:* The position requires mixing or compounding products to meet customer requirements.
This will include color matching, viscosity adjustments, cure thickness testing as well as performing all QC testing of products manufactured and compounded.
Other key components are: · Ability to see color.
· Good math skills and a logical thinker.
· Working well with others in the manufacturing team.
· Working in coordination with other Chemical Technicians in a coordinated effort to achieve the end goal.
· Be open to feed-back *Qualifications:* The candidate should be familiar and adept with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as know how to easily navigate computers and networks.
The candidate should possess writing skills to create short reports.
The candidate should also be organized and capable of proper filing techniques.
The candidate should be able to read and follow directions from Standard Operating Procedures, testing protocols and manuals.
The candidate should be a good communicator and be able to occasionally work under-pressure situations.
The candidate will work with other people and we require the candidate to be thorough, have great attention to detail, be willing to learn, accept suggestions and criticism and communicate concisely and clearly with other team members.
