Join our team! We are looking for a detail-oriented and proficient Staff Accountant to join our team in Bend, Oregon.

As a staff accountant, your primary responsibility is to assist the Director of Business Operations in meeting weekly and monthly goals and deadlines.
*Responsibilities include:*
*Accounting:*
* Input bank transactions into our accounting system for 7 bank accounts
* Update balance sheet reporting monthly
* Book all journal entries monthly prior to month-end
* Reconcile all bank accounts and provide monthly reporting
* Maintain all intercompany receivables/payables and initiate needed bank transfers
*Accounts Payable:*
* Input invoices into an accounting system
* Weekly check runs including positive pay uploads
* Reconciliation of payables for month-end reporting
* Reconcile monthly credit card statements
*Payroll:*
* Attend bi-monthly payroll submission calls
* ·Initiate payroll bank transfers
* Generate monthly PTO liability details and enter into an accounting system
*Other:*
* Audit all medical carrier premium invoices
* Update benefits tracking spreadsheet with terminations and new hires
* Export data for source systems and create management reports
*Qualifications:*
* College-level accounting coursework or completed degree preferred
* Minimum of five years of accounting experience including AP and account reconciliation responsibilities
* Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to cloud-based systems
* Knowledge of basic accounting procedure and terminology is required (i.
e.
debits & credits)
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Strong interpersonal communication skills both written and oral
* A strong attention to detail
* Ability to meet weekly and monthly deadlines
* Familiarity with Sage Intact preferred, but not required

Tenfold develops, owns, and manages senior housing communities in California.
The position is based in Bend, Oregon.
You may be periodically asked to visit the communities, but usually not more than twice a year.
Physical presence in the Bend office is preferred for several days each week, but hours and days are flexible.
