• You are energetic, inspiring and adventurous

• You understand irrigation and equipment related
• You possess a Valid Oregon Driver’s License
• You are available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
What you'll do…
• Directly oversee golf course maintenance operations, personally ensuring that the golf course is presented in the finest condition possible
• Attend or host team meetings as needed to maintain open and honest lines of communication
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the team, providing regular guidance and direction; prepare weekly work schedules and communicate daily assignments
• Perform a daily inspection tour of the golf course, walking each green if possible
• Manage and control budget expenditures
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate records of all fertilizer and pesticide applications, including hours worked
• Perform, or at least have a strong working knowledge of all course maintenance team member job duties
• Develop detailed plans for future improvements to the golf course
• Advise the Director of Golf and/or GM of any situations or conditions that may affect customer satisfaction and/or golf course quality
• Participate in the interviewing, selection and on the job training of new employees
• Oversee the career progression, learning and development of direct report team members
• Remain abreast of industry trends and changes that may affect or enhance the offerings and/or profitability of golf operations and/or the resort
