Responsibilities:
Strategically schedule the tear-off crew to ensure efficient roof removal processes.
Organize the timelines for composite roofing installers, guaranteeing a smooth transition to their forthcoming assignments.
Plan and manage the schedules for the metal roofing teams, aligning their tasks to project timelines.
Diligently verify employee timecards daily to maintain accurate labor hours and facilitate precise job costing.
Ensure that all employees rigorously adhere to Scotts Roofing safety protocols as well as OSHA guidelines.
This includes supervising roofing operations and implementing disciplinary actions for non-compliance.
Articulate detailed job descriptions and identify material requirements for each project to ensure clarity and preparedness for execution.
Efficiently stage and organize necessary materials within the warehouse, enabling crews to swiftly collect supplies in the morning and proceed to job sites without delay.
Schedule the ordering of roofing materials to ensure that project needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Manage the logistics of towing trailers, ensuring they are safely and efficiently transported to their required locations.
Qualifications:
A degree in management, construction, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certification in project management will be considered an asset.
Experience operating a forklift is advantageous but not mandatory.
Proficiency in software applications such as CompanyCam, Microsoft Suite, Jobber, Roofr, and various time card applications is necessary.
Internet savvy is also required to conduct research and manage online project components.
A knowledgeable background in roofing is preferred, but it is not mandatory.
However, a willingness to learn and understand the roofing industry will be expected.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for liaising with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving project goals.
Excellent problem-solving abilities to navigate project challenges and implement effective solutions.
Exceptional time management skills to handle the pressures of project deadlines and deliverables.
Strong analytical skills to interpret project data and make informed decisions.
A clean driving record and a valid drivers license are essential.
Salary and Benefits:
Full-Time Non-Exempt
Salary at $60,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, including quarterly performance bonuses.
Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance is available to purchase by all employees
Simple IRA is available for all employees after 90 days, with Scotts Roofing matching up to 3% of employees yearly pay
Paid Time Off: accrues at 40 hours per year after 90 days and after the first year 40 hours per employee is given on the first day of the year.
80 hours per employee after 2 years at the company
Paid Holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Veterans Day for those that have served our country
Unpaid Company Holidays: Friday before Memorial Day, Friday before Labor Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve
Company Truck provided and gas card if employee has clean driving record and is shown to be able to responsibly take care of company property
