Our resort culture is built on _Trust, Commitment, and Open & Honest Communication! _The Human Resources Coordinator will lead the recruiting, arrival, onboarding, housing, and transportation logistics of the international workforce at Sunriver Resort.
They will play an integral role in seasonal workforce experience.
They will perform administrative duties to support the Sunriver Resort Human Resources team including, but not limited to greeting associates, answering inquiries, processing paperwork, filing, running the Workperks program, and leading the coordination and planning of associate events and recognition.
The HR Coordinator will always conduct them self in manner which supports Sunriver Resort’s Core Values: _Trust, Commitment, and Open & Honest Communication.
_They shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times and will be responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice! Responsibilites: * Provides reception duties for the HR office- meet & greet public, answer phones, filing, etc.
* Responsible for HRIS systems input and pulling reports * As needed provide administrative support to the Sunriver Resort Safety Committee and Safety & Asset Protection Manager * Plan and execute full process of Workperks program * Partner with HR Training and Recruitment Manager to create and deliver Pay Day Press every pay day * Partner with HR Training and Recruitment Manager to create, coordinate, organize training programs as needed * Partner with the Assistant HR Director to coordinate Leave of Absences and Benefits as needed * Assists in the seasonal recruitment process * Performs internal self-audits * Ensure the verification of IDs for I-9 and E-Verify compliance * Responsible for the proper filing and documentation of all EEO & I-9s for current and terminated associates * Responsible for coordinating property Service Anniversary programs * Responsible for coordinating resort Associate of the Month & Leader of the Quarter program * Coordinates Associate Recognition Celebrations (ie: Associate Events, Service Anniversary Events, etc) * Be the main contact for international students regarding employment & housing concerns.
* Work directly with Managers regarding placement of students, schedules, etc.
* Learn key Human Resources systems HRIS, ATS, I-9 Compliance, etc.
* Process human resources paperwork including, but not limited to; hire paperwork, Form I9, data entry, updating social security numbers, etc.
* Manage International student arrival and departure information and track student details.
* Assign housing to students, prepare house information booklets, provide assistance to the Housing Coordinator in preparing houses for occupancy or return to homeowners at season end.
* Manually move beds and furniture in and out of homes as needed.
* Conduct housing inspections on a continual basis.
Provide feedback to students on the conditions of their homes and deduct charges from their housing department if warranted.
* Lead New Associate Orientation classes including Housing Agreements, bikes, locks, lights and security deposit management.
Lead students through the departure process with the assistance of the Housing Coordinator.
* Coordinate and assist with transportation including, but not limited to; airport transfers, cultural immersion trips, social security office & banking visits, and routine weekly trips as needed.
* Coordinate and assist with weekly Bend trips, including doodle polls and strategic planning trip dates/times/frequency.
* Coordinate and execute summer Cultural activities, including planning and communication.
* Respond to emergency transportation needs of the international workforce, for example, unplanned visits to a hospital or urgent care facility.
* Provide coverage for the HR office- meet & greet public, answer phones, filing, etc, as needed.
* Partner with Payroll to ensure all associate are paid timely and in compliance with local and federal wage & hour laws.
* Processes international workforce related paperwork and provide administrative follow up.
* Manage mail process for international workforce.
* Supports HR Director & Assistant HR Director with administrative tasks and special projects as needed Qualifications: * High School diploma required, college degree preferred * Strong computer skills required * At least one year of human resource experience preferred * At least one year of housing experience preferred * Familiarity with BOLI, EEOC and FLSA regulations preferred * Prior hospitality experience preferred * Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a company vehicle.
* Must have strong verbal, written, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills * Must be comfortable public speaking and engaging large groups of associates * Must be able to individually solve problems using good judgment and critical thinking skills * Ability to work with high level of autonomy * Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines * Ability to maintain confidentiality in all associate interactions and handle sensitive matters in a timely and lawful manner.
* Must have strong computer proficiency and comfort with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems.
* Must be detail orientated with a high level of accuracy * Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings or weekends * Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner * Must have a passion for creating an exceptional associate experience * Must be able to lift carry, push & pull up to 25 lbs without assistance; * Must be able to travel by car in the local geographic area on a daily basis Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.
